Scott P. Falci, MD

During Dr. Falci’s neurosurgical residency training at Georgetown University, he was introduced to a newly developing subspecialty of neurosurgery, i.e. the neurosurgical treatment of chronically injured spinal cords to improve the function of those with spinal cord injuries, by Dr. Barth Green of the U. Miami. It was at this time that Dr. Falci recognized the need for this developing subspecialty for all those having sustained a spinal cord injury from any cause, and the opportunity to advance
