What is pediatric urology?
Pediatric urology is a specialty that focuses on the disorders of a child’s genitourinary system. Our pediatric urology specialists are dedicated to treating infants, children and adolescents with urologic conditions.
The urinary tract includes organs primarily responsible for cleaning and filtering excess fluid and waste from the blood. The kidneys also function as glands that produce hormones necessary to build red blood cells and regulate blood production. The urinary system includes:
- Bladder
- Kidneys
